The first game I actually felt like a true masterpiece was made, and the first game that made me cry for days. Still love the amount of freedom you have in approaching fights and the amount of options you have to dispatch enemies. You can get really really creative. Not so much with missions approach as they are mostly very linear unfortunately, but it doesn't take away the fun you can have with this game.

Despite the criticism Doom 3 gets for being too dark, I really enjoy the way they handled the story making Doom work with it. Doom 3 does have its flaws, mostly the final boss fight being rather disappointing and hand holding, but other than that I really enjoy gong back to it and playing the story again and again.

Another game I often like to go back to. Probably because it brings me back in time to when I was younger and life was simpler, but it's still a ton of fun and I love the atmosphere of it even to this day
