Surprisingly fun for what I expected from it.
The "story" is pretty much what I expected from a badass shark swimming around and eating people and other animals.
Unlocking different body parts was neat and some of them looked quite nice.
Only real downside of this game was, that it just doesn't catch my attention too much and I ended up starting a giant war against the military near a coast and killed hundreds of humans and their boats rather than progressing in the game way too many times.
But overall it's a sweet game for what it is and I can imagine after a while I could actually replay it again.

an old man became a coin which I then used to pay the bus fare, an eye became a fruit, a book became a desert, and I my mind became a mess after playing this. 10/10

A really nice little game to run through and enjoy the art. Ideal for game pass. Well worth your time if you have a couple of hours free.

Short but the right length; if it had been much longer I suspect it might have had difficulty keeping the internal logic consistent and avoided becoming the kind of game where all you are doing is guessing what the designer was thinking rather than working it out yourself.

I love how simple yet absolutely unwavering this game is. The game pushes the boundaries on what intuitive really means. On one hand, it's simply designed, but on the other hand the gameplay and puzzles are still complex. It doesn't hold your hand much; it took me maybe about 10-15min to understand how to play. It reminded me of some of the best films I've watched. The ones that present a singular vision and a meditative rhythm that you either buy into or you don't. This game has zero dialogue, barely any characters (can I call them that lmao), plenty of magical mumbo jumbo, yet I was wildly into it the whole time.

An engaging little, self-assured masterpiece on perspective and finding meaning in life.

Original and innovative perspective gameplay, charming and colorful art. And a story explained in 2 hours.
Everything you like in an indie.

More games that play with your mind please!

I'm not really one for puzzle games generally speaking, but the art and presentation here is absolutely stunning

A unique and beautiful, yet very short puzzle game. Well done puzzles, I had to look into a guide for one puzzle though as I just did not figure it out on my own. I did not really understand the story, but I enjoyed my time with the game nonetheless.

very pretty, very short, and very polished 2D point-and-click (albeit not in the conventional sense of that term) puzzler with an abstract story. won't be everyone's cup of tea, but it's a small, narrowly focused game that does what it sets out to do and does it very well

more games should fuck around with perspective

Gorgeous and relaxing point and click puzzle adventure. The game itself is a series of motifs, spread between one to four panels. By exploring these spaces, you remake the images and compositions discovered to progress through the game. Easy to finish in less than a couple of hours. Would absolutely recommend checking this out.

I loved this brisk, beautiful game with brilliantly intuitive visual/spatial puzzle design. Maybe one or two moves that I knew what it wanted but wasn’t sure the exact finicky move required, but overall this was perfectly brain-teasing without confounding me into an online answer guide.

I enjoyed this game up to the final set of puzzles- the easiest in the game. That is when I fell in love.
While the beats of the story were obvious, their impact was not at all dulled. An excellent soundtrack and a touching focus on memories and lifelong pursuits made this a story and a game that will linger on in my mind.

There's very little else that's better than the feeling you get once you figure something out in a puzzle game, and pretty much every single puzzle in Gorogoa made me feel that way. Oh, and the art is gorgeous too. I'm not too sure what the narrative was, but it was there!

A brilliantly done puzzle game with some very inventive mechanics. The puzzles often require lateral thinking, and trying similar things together until something works.

The game is visually pleasing, with some beautifully rendered environments, hypnotic patterns and different styles working seamlessly together. The art of a train station map fits perfectly with the intricate carvings of a building.

There were a few annoying moments. Having to spin something in the right direction felt tedious, especially when something so quick is in a game that's methodical.

A short but fun experience that does not outstay its welcome. Recommended as a filler between bigger titles.
