I have my problems with the linearity of the level design and the excessiveness of Dark Souls 1 fan service, but I can't overlook the AMAZING boss fights (the best in the series) and the incredible art direction that sets the mood just right, I've never seen a dying world so well represented in media as this one. Also, Ringed City is the perfect ending to the series and its ending is the most poetic moment in all gaming history.
