Better than the original in every way - but why do I find the first game far more memorable to just sit down and think about?

Just try and catch my ass coughing to let my friends know the answers, ITV!

2012

Charming and interesting to play, but ultimately more memorable for Phil Fish's antics than the game itself.

Very short, but I do love being IN and Raccoon City for longer than RE2's intro allowed.

In no world did I ever expect this to be as good as it turned out to be. Feels like a real Guardians experience - I genuinely feel like the only thing that would make it better would be if we got to play as the other members of the team instead of just Peter. But then again, that makes the development harder.

No regrets buying this thing three times.

I loved GoldenEye as a kid, but trying to play it now with its funny controls and erratic framerate isn't how I want to remember the game.

I can't do it. The Casalis have broken me.

Fascinating stealth game that my dad used to play more than I did. I can still hear the funny accents the German NPCs have when I see the box art. Love the whole "the camp runs on a schedule" mechanic going on. Can be a bit frustrating with controls and AI though - nail-biting tension at times, hair-tearing tedium at others.

If I were the Doomguy I'd probably have shot myself in the hangar the year prior.

Leave cave - attacked by rats. Enter world - attacked by everything else.

Such is life as a Gamer.

If I ever see another Riddler trophy I will resort to violence.

Oh yeah, but when I do it I'm asked to leave the children's birthday party.

Dad's favourite game. Can't bring myself to go back to it, knowing his save files are on my Steam account. Miss you, old man - wish you were here to do the exact same thing you always did and refuse to turn the actual game off because "if I close the laptop lid it turns off anyway".

I don't know why I can't play 2D Metroidvanias because this is bloody fantastic from start to finish - well, nearly.
