Better story than Splatoon 2 but idols can't compare to Off The Hook. Maps are better and the weapon additions are fun however the main multiplayer matches are still painful toxic sweat-fests not allowing new players to do anything than be spawn camped. Salmon Rush is fine but not a mode personally for me.

So much silly, quirky charm all in one game. I loved every second of this game, I wish Nintendo did more stuff with the Miis.

Campaign was a slog compared to the first game and the multiplayer matches were painfully sweaty and once you got spawn camped 5 seconds in, it was nigh impossible getting un-spawn camped. Still solid, fun and addicting gameplay like the previous game and Off The Hook are the best characters in the whole series.

Lost my shit when this was announced, truly the best Mario sub-series we've ever had. Bonus points for the Amiibo costumes which were one of the most underrated features imo

GOATed maps, great weapons, didn't have to pay for online, Story was great, very rarely did you encounter spawn camping sweatbags
