I had fun at the beginning, but it became quite grindy later on. Sure, racing at night can be fun and the world looks beautiful, but everything else is kinda lackluster. The characters are bland and the music is basic and forgettable. Honestly, most of them were meh.

I tried to like this game, I really did. But Morrowind just seems like a chore to get through rather than anything fun.

I don't like the story. I think the lore and setting are great. But the actual things you do as a character in the world are usually completely boring. Most of the side quests are fetch or escort quests, and most of the main quests are to do something irrelevant in exchange for information or support. There are a few standout moments, but the Nerevarine's story is mostly boring stuff.

I also dislike the awkward combination of dice-roll combat and real-time movement, the unintuitive journal system and the lifeless and forgettable NPCs.

I was surprised at how much fun I had playing this. This game is a heartfelt love letter to the PS legacy and I loved every second I played of it. It was too adorable with all the references etc. It's been a while since I had such an endearing experience!

God, after playing Nier Automata I thought I was ready for another heart wrenching story. But I truly wasn't. This game reminded me again why the DrakeNier franchise is one of my absolute favorites. The storytelling, while slow in this one, is engaging from start to finish. Words cannot describe how much I enjoyed the story and the characters. After finishing all Endings I was a wreck and I loved it.

There are some things I didn't really like in this game though, like the tedious sidequests. Dear god, why are most of them boring fetch and grindy farm quests? No seriously, the sidequests were a chore to go through! But I didn't mind the
running around that much, because of the immaculate soundtrack.

Honestly, the atmospheric soundtrack is another thing I deeply love about Nier. This game shows that even the worst gameplay mechanics can be kind of fun or bearable while listening to a bop after another.

Also, as much as I enjoyed Kainé as a character, her outfit looks not good. So many possibilities and they chose this mess. There is good fanservice and then there is Kainé. You got done dirty. I'm so sorry, my love.

But overall, I'm glad that I finally got the time to play this fantastic game and experience something special.

I'm finding it really hard to enjoy this game. It's failing to engage me in any shape or form. The map is too big, but nowhere as in-depth in terms of enemies, treasures, traps, secrets, and biome themes. This game is simply painfully average, which is a huge bummer, because I really enjoyed Ys I + II.

I hope the latest entries in this series won't disappoint me.

This game is actually fun. Honestly, I don't think anything is going to compete with Smash Bros, but if they stick with it and add more characters, this could very well have its own cult. And the fact that this game is free to play and offers crossplay is a huge bonus.

This is where 2D retro graphics peaked. The music and sounds of this one bring so much peace to my heart and soul. This game was made with so much love. But the Kinstones were really annoying to collect.

2018

From solely an audio and visual standpoint, the game is absolutely gorgeous. It delivers amazing visual story-telling but I just can't ignore the utterly boring gameplay.

We finally got a fully voiced Byleth but at what cost?

I've read fanfiction better than this. Not like I had much hope about the story in the first place since it's a warriors spin-off game with a completely new protagonist. It has some good scenes and fights of course. Especially SB. I actually kinda liked the route and more Edelgard content is always a win, but man ...all in all this game is really kind of a mess.

Some characters behave strangely in order to fulfil nothing more than pure fanservice and awful tropes (looking at you AG). And some of them are just irrelevant in general.

The secret chapters are a joke and just prove that the original characters are unnecessary and only exist because it's a warriors game. I guess that was to be expected but it's still disappointing to see. Welp, I'm glad this isn't canon.

The gameplay is fun for the first few hours then it's getting too grindy and tedious for me.

Overall Three Hopes is an alright game if you like the cast because the new supports and character interactions are fun to watch, but this game only made me appreciate Three Houses even more to be honest.

I know this is a fanservice spin-off "nobody dies" AU, but the circumstances surrounding the lords this time around are too convenient imo. There was simply no tension. Even the endings felt too abrupt and all routes lacked the emotional impact Three Houses offered. The routes were lacking in emotional investment, mostly due to odd pacing and lack of exposition in certain things and character interactions.

(The game leaked a few days ago, so I had the chance to play it early.)

This game is actually kinda entertaining. The drama and the weird social interactions are fun to watch. But the mental gymnastics and the lengths the characters go to to dismiss shit is insane.

The only good thing about this game is female Terry.

I can appreciate that the game has no super serious narrative but it felt like I was watching a very bad anime. I didn't really care for any of the characters either. The combat is fun and has its badass moments though.

Other than that nothing about this game is memorable for me, memes aside.

Honestly? If there is a FE game that deserves a remake with a monastery like system implemented into it then it's this one.

...and Path of Radiance.

2020

Bought this game because of the same-gender couple update. Probs to the devs for that!

I honestly quite enjoyed the game, which I didn't expect. Yes, the dialogues can be cheesy sometimes, but well...it IS a game about a couple in love after all.

Overall, it's a nice game to play when you're bored or just want to relax a bit.

This was better than expected, ugly visuals aside.
