If you don't mind the price for quite a short game (took less than an hour for me) then this game is nothing more than a cozy yet surprisingly well built adventure game. Very relaxing.
Wow, honestly I'm surprised. It was actually a well thought out murder Ace Attorney like game, and the ending was absloutly brilliant. Even though there was weird fanservice, collectible problems and Hangman's Gambit I would still recommend picking up this game. Good job.

It was ok. It didn't really have anything for it going at all, boring game to be honest. But the ending was quite sad so I'll give it that.

Firewatch will make you feel empty.
After everything that has happened, the ending, the people, you would be sat there feeling confused and empty. Perhaps this is the point of the game. Maybe despite the lackluster walking simulator you might have faced, everything was supposed to be bleak and depressing. I think this is what makes it special. FANTASTIC writing (can't go into detail cause spoilers), amazing scenery and great characters that we don't even see throughout. The game's not brilliant, but it's a brilliant mess. Looking forward to Campo Santo's next title.

One thing that frustrates me is that people talk about about how dated/bad this game is without realising how revolutionary it was for the time. Similar to HL I genuinely believe that this changed FPS forever. This game isn't perfect (after all it has the issues with most CODs) but for 2007 this has aged incredibly well.

Instead of Air Ride 2 or a substantial game Nintendo gives us another Nintendo Online based corporate spin-off for our grubby hands to chew on until they muster up any ideas.
