I think I've just grown tired of the classic Pokemon formula. I played this game back when it first came out and enjoyed it, but I didn't get the same enjoyment playing it now.

The story was interesting to question the morality of Pokemon, but didn't really impact anything by the end.

The sprites looked really good and the music was solid, but the gameplay is the same ol' same.
