game of 2022 for me, every chapter included a captivating story with characters you care about (even the caveman chapter) mini map came in clutch for some chapters that felt confusing in areas especially in the near future chapter. final chapter can feel like a grind but worth it to have an easy time with the final boss which afterwards unique dialogue depending on what character you chose to lead with.

had very welcoming friend lobby options including invites and when it works, a restore point for the game in case a friend DCs. shame this never got any DLC.

fun racing game to pick up and play. it's no daytona usa that should have been on Switch by now but I guess there by licensing issues for that. i never could get anybody to play this game with me. oh well, just had to deal with bots where the slightest of contact with one of them can ruin your whole race.

large pikmin game, took 25 hours to complete and truly felt like a $60 game which says a lot being a game released in 2023. if i wasn't a depressed 26 year old that pretends like I don't have time but really just blinks and like hours if not days keep passing me by, then I would easily replay this game in a heartbeat. oatchi is OP in so many areas and couldn't imagine traversing anywhere without him. used to safely deal with each and every single enemy in the game which had very good callbacks to the second game. first game callbacks had its moments to shine here too.

second most replayable game in the series, three captains and waypointing them made for tons of ways to multitask. the quaggled mireclops boss fight keeps me from giving this a perfect score.

easily cheesable with purples and simply resetting, constantly using exploits to combat some of the game's difficulty spikes. some can be challenging and will force you to implement creative strategies

one of the best games i've ever played. easily replayable fun to eradicate each and every living thing standing in your way. that is when the game isn't glitching your pikmin through the floor and is why you play the Switch version.

there was a glitch where the game softlocks if you select the ceiling vent when I first played. thankfully that has since been patched out.

can call the mc "dumb and worthless, hope for her mum to throw her out the window and think it's a fun attraction mid flight", but don't do that. the mc is far too precious for that and deserves better, much better in like everything in life.

game got stale quickly, same tracks getting picked over and over

only played for the marathon, my brain can't comprehend puyo
