Perhaps my first ever video game? Don't remember much, but watching long plays I did enjoy defeating the enemies, platforming to get to random gems, and hated the flying/collecting levels.

My first exposure to Star Wars - I "learned" Darth Vader (or as I knew him, Dark Vapor) was Luke's father by the Lego cutscene where he takes out a picture of him, Padme, and baby Luke while Luke is clutching his chopped off arm.

What a gem of a game, not sure if I was able to eventually get all 10 minikits in each level, but I definitely tried. And running around in the Lego City area and building up Mos Espa hub with the golden bricks was many an hour spent.
And after finishing LEGO Star Wars I, was sick to have both Boba and Jango Fett together.

For some reason played this one after LEGO Star Wars II The original trilogy. I guess that matches me up with the films? Still hadn't seen them, still didn't know what was going on, but I loved Jango Fett even back then. Dual pistols was cool.

Super fun progressing through the 20 or 25 stages and unlocking each weird character, getting their ability, and customizing your own character mixing and matching feet and hands. Played this a lot with elementary school friends, sharing a keyboard.

As is the case for me with many of Zach Gage's games, played this constantly for a long couple of months, then fell off if it after a certain point.

Honestly don't remember anything from this one. A puzzle game of moving mirrors around, able to cheese some levels by getting just the right angle.

Another addicting Ketchapp game, score-chasing for a couple of weeks.

All the rage, especially with the song, and pretty fun mini-games too.

Another evolution game, picked it up to explore in remembrance of the Zebra Evolution game I had played a few years back. Still silly and fun, but didn't stick as long and didn't have the companionship of my previous time.

A classic time-wasting iOS game. Still on the iPod Touch. Played somewhere between 30 minutes and 5 hours. Train directing was fun too, bits of minigames in the middle.

2014

An interesting Rovio game (from Angry Birds). I enjoyed the pixel graphics.

Filled with weird in-app purchases, music ranged from awful to bad. If I could rate it lower, I would.

Apparently I said that this new version didn't run well on my 3 year old iPod Touch.

Riddled with in-app purchases, but the level design must've kept me going for a good amount of time I guess. Played this for over half a year.

A classic game on iOS, relaxing platformer.

- Just played it in 12/27/23 while writing this down and got a new high score of 5 billion (5,429,703,250 to be exact), hitting a bit over 500 bells. Puts me on top of the iOS leaderboard this week! and 1,361st all time. cool.
