Fun brain training game, played for a couple of months consistently. Some mini-games were easier than others - I hated the memorization one.

I wasn't as good as arts and letters.

My favorite, constantly in the DS game. Eventually 100%'d with all the helpers in the Helper to Hero game. Meta Knightmare Ultra was sick. Minigames were always really fun, and Gourmet Race was classic.

(As is for all of these, no idea which dates I really started playing these).

Very fun, a little annoying to have to retry levels to get all the treasures, but good puzzling and very cute. Bubbles in the stomach as the bottom screen were a fun mechanic. Strawberry shortcake all the way.

Played on emulator, using phone touchscreen wasn't too bad. Was annoying to have to retry levels, but otherwise a fun mechanic of using up to 10 Kirby's and trying to keep them alive.

One of the hardest final bosses, besides Cackletta in Superstar Saga. Spent ages trying to beat up Elder Shroob. Kind of a dark story. Before I knew how to grind, Toad Town's enemies and Shroob Castle legit terrified me with how tough the enemies are. Atmosphere was great, favorite part was seeing Bowser and Bowser Jr. work together - that whole Thwomp Volcano bit is great.

That final boss was impossible for me. Many fond memories dying to Cackletta's Spirit and her spinning arms in the backseat of the car on the GBA SP.

My first Mario Game! Dates are vaguely the time of childhood when I played it, and played it over and over. Without knowing anything else about Mario and its history then, I had a fun time with this one. The underwater levels, even then, were annoying, but the moon level and Halloween levels were really cool. Solid music too, and the carrot power-up was fun to use.

The first Pokemon game I emulated, very fun zipping around on 2x speed. Nostalgic, memorable towns and locations. A good amount of water.

I played this for ages and ages, probably destroying my GBA SP's D-Pad with the button inputs for the maximum combos. Don't know if I ever became the "champion", or if it was endless honestly. But did have a good time with it. This was my only experience with Beyblade the franchise at all, but was a solid game without any outside knowledge.

Loved Card-Jitsu and the lore behind it, as well as all the spy missions. Hopped back into the island in 2017 when it was announced that it was closing, and tried out Card-Jitsu Snow, which barely ran (Card-Jitsu Water already was struggling and you mostly progressed because other penguins were dying from not being able to move either).

Although it did take away from the chill vibe of the games, I did enjoy trying to collect the achievement stamps in each of the mini-games that they added, like Cart Surfer or the Jetpack game.

First party I remember, besides the Holiday Party and Rockhopper visits, was the April Fools' orange puffle. They introduced so many of those in the future.

I think I met Gary once in person? (in penguin?).

Good times.

Great single player missions, never got the drifting down because I was playing on phone emulator. I miss having single player quests in Mario Kart games.

But very fond memories on school trips in coach buses in 2009 and 2010 as a Shy Guy in the multiplayer rooms racing and battling.

Classic fun Flash game, the platforming really made me try to get the most out of the jumps.

A guilty stick shooting "tactics" pleasure. Was a riot to try to bomb CPUs off the cliff, name team members after my friends, and see the CPUs give up and shoot into the ground when they were almost dead.

Definitely got around to this one later than my other physical DS games, not sure when I got it or how, there aren't any markings of it being pre-purchased but I don't believe my parents gave it to me. The manual inside the box is very nostalgic.

Doesn't top Partners in Time for me, though I do admit that it is a better game. Bowser is great and goofy, and although I like Baby Mario on X and Baby Luigi on Y, Bowser on X and Y also works great.

Final music is goated.

Edit: Found that I bought it myself on eBay for $20. Honestly, a pretty good get, considering it came with box and manual.

Maybe one of the first games I played, on the PS1. Nostalgic when looking back at YouTube videos of it. RC was my favorite.
