Some interesting mechanics, but nothing we haven't seen before. Crashed a lot. My daughter was into it for a little bit. I liked the "Castaway" reference.

2003

My daughter loves this game, so we've been going through and doing challenges together. Using the D-pad for tricks is sooo 3 generations ago.

The Franchise has gone off the rails, but the first person games have been pretty good. As a dad with not a lot of time, I bought the dlc that pretty much unlocks everything, so to some extent, the game was a breeze. Lady D was soooo overhyped in the marketing. Couldn't believe how little she was actually in the game.

Just too much for this old dog. Got pretty far, but I didn't finish it.

Pretty decent shooter with some Metroid style puzzles. Comedy is hot or miss, but I chuckled a few times.

I got through one playthrough and didn't feel any need to go back. I put a lot of hours into it but a lot of that was traveling across barren planets trying to get to a landmark.

Looks like how your memories imagine it. Fixes the frustrating turret section. Map is clunky.
