Goodbye Diablo IV. Hello Baldur's Gate.

A mix of a rogue-lite structure and a simplified, auto-playing, turn-based RPG makes for something akin to an auto-chess meets Vampire Survivors. Which, on face value sounds like a highly compelling combination, but in practice sadly it just doesn't nail the pacing or design subtleties; each "run" takes too long to get interesting and the persistent progress too slow to feel meaningful, which reveals the repetitive nature of the loop so plainly that it becomes difficult to maintain the addictive hook that rogue-likes live and die on.
