The definitive kart racing experience. Mario Kart 64 came close to this one but there’s just so much more to do in DKR. Secret characters, big bad ass boss in Wizpig, 3 types of vehicles. I would use Pipsy until I unlocked Drumstick.

It’s a shame because this game could be rated so much higher. Idk if other consoles suffer from this but the PS4 version has an issue with the roll mechanic once you unlock it. And you do that around Level 10 automatically. It breaks the game in a bad way because you’ll auto-roll every few seconds. Other than that, I do love this game.
Lost many a nut to this one. This game is not good, it’s just here for a good time. 🥴

I’d rate it just a hair above RDR2. I don’t do separate entries for DLC so the Zombie Expansion and to-the-point story make it better to me. I didn’t know there was a fast travel system until towards the end of the game. 🙃 Even then, if it was actually “fast travel”, this game would have a perfect score. You’re missing out if you’re just hating on this game because it was cool. It really is something special.

Favorite DKC game and 2nd favorite SNES game. It’s great in every category for a platformer. Must play.
Let me make something crystal clear to you with your candy asses. This game would not have a perfect rating in 2023 but back in the day, this game was the GOAT. My #1 favorite wrestling game. The loading screens are what would make this game unplayable to me today. One last thing! You’re able to escape the cage match without winning. I’m not sure a lot of people know about this glitch. It’s one me and the bro actually discovered. Countless “seasons” played on this, would love to know how many hours played.

Wow! This game came out in ‘95?! Improvements all across the board from the 1st game. Memorable endings, some of them downright hilarious. Might be my favorite game in the series. (Tekken 3?)

For me, it’s aged the best of any N64 game. It was already near the top back then anyways. The humorous characters, vibrant worlds, and addicting gameplay, how can you not like this game? Okay, if you’re a baby and couldn’t get all the notes in one run & you was upset you had to find them ALL again; they fixed that “problem” on the 360 version.
Chess Kombat, Puzzle Kombat, and Shujinko. 3 reasons I might rate this game higher than you. Loved Konquest mode too.

Beat on PS4 Low rating is likely due to not playing it until recently. Did make it to the end but it gets awfully repetitive. Beyond the 1st stage music and enemy sprites, this one isn’t memorable otherwise.

This game has to be my favorite game that I never beat. And I’m not ranking it 5 stars out of pure nostalgia. I love this game! It was one of my 1st RPGs. I love the soundtrack, gameplay and all of the main characters. I don’t get why this game gets so much hate, but I love it. I will beat it one day! Hoping it’ll be on Nintendo Switch Online soon…

The game every gamer has most likely played, even over any Mario game. It stands the test of time. I’ll be playing this 40 years from now if I’m still alive. Enough said.

This is kind of an incomplete rating. I always played as Leon only. & I never beat the game. There were a couple moments in the game that I had to mute my TV. 😅 But for immersing young me into the game so effectively — perfect rating.

The 1st entry, also the worst entry. Not a terrible game but a rough start to the MK franchise. The blood being removed from the SNES port is not a big deal but the fatalities were lame and there are simply not enough fighters.

Didn’t like it as much as the 1st game. Shadow is badass but in doing so it felt like the characters (especially Knuckles) took more of a backseat. SA1 just had more charm in my opinion.
