A very well done game that recontextualizes a lot of BotW mechancis to create its own feel and style. Another round of the shrines that I loved in BotW with a new set of powers, and a better feeling of constantly having to improvise as the game throws new challenges at you regularly.

That said, I prefer BotW. Its level of open-endedness in letting the player discover every set of mechanics naturally instead of TotK's more guided experience works much better for this style of gameplay IMO.

That said, given the amount of players that didn't understand the gameplay loop of fighting monsters and depleting weapons in order to get better armor, which is permanent and contain new abilities, allowing you to fight tougher enemies and get better weapons on such a regular basis that weapon degradation stops mattering, actually explaining how everything works might be for the better.

But TotK did not make that gameplay loop like I frequently see online, BotW did. Players just didn't figure that out for one reason or another the first time around.

(english): my favorite Pokemon game without a shadow of a doubt, I played it for the first time this year, it was the Pokemon game that had the most fun for me, the mechanics and typings added to the game created a wider range, where I felt like a child playing Pokemon for the first time.
It's an absurd 5 stars.
