An absolute slog of a game, good lord

Played on my Steam Deck, where it ran flawlessly.

Really cool game that is a bit tedious at times, but the tedium is a part of the experience. I wouldn't say this tank control style of survival horror is my personal favorite, but I respect the game for playing the way that it does.

A step up from the first game in almost every way. The platinum trophy was also easy, and fun, to achieve.

There is absolutely zero excuse for the game to run as poorly as it does, especially given that Pokémon is the highest grossing media franchise in history.

Putting that aside, good lord is the open world absolutely atrocious to look at. Even worse, the open world looks barren and unpopulated. I truly think that Pokémon should stick to the "open-zone" concept they presented in Legends Arceus, instead of a traditional open world.

An incredibly solid remaster that doesn't overstay it's welcome. More games of this length please!

Gonna be completely honest, I thought the plot of this DLC was better than the base game. I would've given this a 4.5/5, but there tends to be multiple rooms with no enemy encounters, which ruins the gameplay pacing for me.

An incredible feat of a game given that it was largely developed by 1 person. The OST is also spectacular.

My personal issues with the game are with a fair amount of the encounters in Acts 2 and 3 feeling a bit unbalanced and not fun as a result.

A very fun FPS roguelike in the vein of something like Deadlink, but with an obvious visual inspiration from Borderlands and other cell-shaded games.

An improvement on just about everything from Yakuza: Like a Dragon. Better and faster combat, easier Drink Link completion, and many other features. Literally my only, nitpicky complaint is that the song "Apathy 1" from the previous game didn't reappear.

It's fun, but it hasn't quite hooked me in the way that other horde survivor games have.

Played this on GOG after the Fallout series on Amazon got me feeling nostalgic. Really solid CRPG with a ton of depth, insanely good voice acting (especially for 1997), and charming clay model talking heads. I know for a fact that I didn't do every little thing that there is to do in this game, so I expect to return to it again someday.

They nailed the Bloodborne atmosphere and Soulslike recursive level design, but oh my fucking god are the bosses in the 2nd half of the game (from the swamp onwards) just unbelievably brutal to the point where I'm not having fun with the game anymore. I genuinely do not know how you are expected to solo any of these goddamn bosses, so I tip my hat to anyone that speedruns this game.

This is seriously one of the best indie games I've ever played. The level design is impeccable and you can 100% the entire game in just under 10 hours. If you like Pikmin, PLAY THIS!

An incredible accomplishment in video gaming. However, I'm rating it a 4/5 because while this game is fantastic, it is absolutely not without its flaws. Act 3 (at the time of this review; June 2024) is noticeably buggy, and the final boss battle was more annoying than anything else.

Overall though, I think that the sheer amount of options that this game offers is well worth the price of admission.
