Cozy, sweet and beautiful without getting boring. Exactly what I needed.

When you first start, the game warns you that there's no autosave, and then withholds manual saving until about an hour in the game, after a boss fight. Oh, and it doesn't really teach you how to do the boss fight, or tutorialise the combat very well. So if you die, you're starting that first hour again from the start. Well, no, Square Enix and Platinum, I'm not doing it.

It's quite a while since I played a game that's so openly hostile to the player. I'm only grateful that I found out early so I didn't waste more time on it.

Beautiful and compelling but just too hard with no option to turn down the difficulty.

Lacks the charm of the previous iteration and there's just waaaaay too many mechanics crammed in. Felt like the tutorial would never end and that the already too-difficult combat would just keep getting more complicated.

This might actually be my favourite game of all time. Cozy, charming and fun, with a beautiful style and so much to see and do.
