Played this because I knew it was a quick game so I could give H.L a time, and boy....I was not expecting it to be so damn good and addictive.
Everything in this game is good, it won tons of awards for a reason - the gameplay, the minigames, THE STORY OH THE STORY , the ambience - everything is tailor made to the fit the experience.
It features cosmic horror in a way I haven't seen before in any game ever made. Definitely a must play.

This a good game to past the time, sitting between a hibrid of a cozy management simulator and a adventure story. It takes place in only one setting: your horticulture. It is fun to identify and care for the specimens, as well as to slowly discover the lore thar takes place in the world you are in. Choices do matter, and you'll have much to read when playing this game.
I found one thing very off-putting and it is the fact that most text in unreadable due to its size. I understand the concept of having to use a magnifying glass, however, when player on other platforms that are not PC, this becomes an issue since you cant change tools that fast. I'm almos 100% sure this game was made only for PC,to be played with a mouse, and playing it in switch was hellish in this aspect. Maybe they could section the workshop into different rooms,or different screens similar to what they did when the alchemy part of the game came in. There is no replay value.

A masterpiece. Obra Dinn in it's core is a detective game where you need to go back to past memories in an abandoned ship using a time traveling divice. This divice gives you a snap to the exact time someone died, helping you to achieve your goal of identifying everyone that was once aboard on the ghost ship, as well as discovering how they died. The lore is mysterious and gives off big cosmic horror vibes, a lot of things are left unanswered. It is a difficult game requiring a lot of inspecting. I found that I ended up a litte nauseous while playing it, not sure why, but probably because it's very difficult to distinguish background from front action, since everything runs in granulated B&W. Overall very good, but sadly it's a one time adventure with little to no replay value.
