Amazing game that’s hard as nails. The customization you can do and the amount it affects gameplay is phenomenal and im very glad the series came back now just to hope it doesnt get abandoned again.

Massively underrated party game. Has a very solid roster, fun story mode, the sports themselves are a blast and has some of the best dream events in the series, party mode is fun with friends and family. Just a really solid party game for the wii.

massive step down from the 2010 vancouver games on wii and ds. Theres almost nothing to say about it its simply just boring and uninteresting.

My first ever dissapointment

While being a fun game and by no means bad this version always felt like a massive missed opportunity by sega to celebrate the handheld games of sonic’s past while we only wind up with a rush and colors ds level. By no means is it bad and its nice to see some levels that werent in the original like mushroom hill or emerald coast but that just doesnt save it from feeling like a missed opportunity.

Very disappointing for the first console mainline pokemon game. I know the comparison is overdone but the colosseum games came out years ago and look far better and play far better than this game does on a modern system. Its very obvious the game was rushed with cut pokemon, awful animations, and a nonexistent story. The progression in this game feels like a straight line that sometimes splits its about as boring and linear as pokemon gets. Its a shame a series as big as pokemon had a fall this hard.

By far one of my most hated games due to the anticipation built up beforehand and the damage it has done to sonic as a whole, the game doesnt understand its characters with everyone besides the main 3 feeling useless especially when characters like tails, knuckles, omega, etc have had huge adventures in their own right along with character development that this game chooses to ignore, the levels themselves arnt even any fun the designs are insanely boring in modern stages which wouldnt matter because the levels end before you realize it while the classic stages are so awful to control even when generations nailed classic before this, the story is awful like every story in this era but somehow worse its like they wanted to make a adventure era story but forgot to make a villian with an interesting motive (not that it matters since they recycle the same final boss from the previous 2 games for some god knows reason) along with actual pacing and charming dialogue. The only redeeming part of this game is the avatar however that mechanic as a whole feels extremely underwhelming with all species looking the exact same minus the head with customization barely existing outside of cosmetics. Look if you want to play forces just watch paint dry youd get the same experience.

Pikmin 2 manages to take everything from 1 and improve on it from the graphics to the gameplay to the pikmin themselves everything is improved. While i understand many dislike the cave system and hate the removal of the time limit i see 1 and 2 as two different gameplay styles for the series they both set out to do different things and succeed in my eyes, so while it changed alot i dont fault it for that as its not trying to be pikmin 1. With that being said the insanity of the electric hazard and how broken purple pikmin are does make the game a bit messy though regardless of that i still consider it a great game and a worth any fan’s time.

Fun quirky little rpg that caught my heart and attention back when it came out in the west. Nothing can really explain miitopia accurately its a rollercoaster of a game where you go from fighting twerking turkeys with mouths on their ass to a three headed dog with your friend’s faces on it. The best part of this game however is the freedom you have to add whoever you want to add; friends? Sure. family? Why not. Fictional characters? Go wild. Theres really no end to the crazy scenarios you can make which is further boosted by a fun and rewarding combat system. Of course however theres little reason to go back to this version as the switch release maintains everything great about this game and adds to it though that doesnt subtract from what this version started.

I’ve had this game since chilhood so maybe its nostalgia but this is genuinely one of the best games of all time in my eyes and nothing will ever change that. The characters, story, gameplay is so amazing that i cant put it into words and its a magic the series has yet to recapture. I absolutely recommend this game to anyone even mildly interested its genuinely one of the greatest games of all time and one i constantly go back to.

Great new direction for the series especially since the disappointing era before this though its not without flaws such as the fighting mechanics needing to be expanded upon and sonic’s constant references to past games and events. That being said this game has some of if not THE best bosses in the series (minus the final boss) and one of the best soundtracks from the franchise. I look forward to how they refine it in the next major sonic release.

Overhated especially in the modern landscape of buggy games that are released unfinished. By no means a great game the mechanics can be weird, the story is confusing, elise, but it has some great moments and levels that make it still a fun game. Give it a try if you havent or havent since its release its not great but theres far far worse.

Really great game that works as a fantastic celebration of the sonic series from sonic 2 to sonic 2006 everything is here. Only major flaw is the disappointing story and the shortness if it which couldve been fixed with dlc (cough sonic x shadow gens)
