It pains me to give this game a 4,5 given on how much it has offered and affected me. There hasn't been a single game that has made me to drop my controller and let me sink in on what I had experienced by the end of it. This game is not a 5/5 because of just how slightly lacking the combat can be and how (even though I adore it) the story can be hard to piece together as you go along with how many terms and names the game throws at you without always doing the best job at properly explaining them.

This is where the franchise has peaked for me (So far). Not only they nailed the vaporwave presentation but the overall progression, the interestingly unique and clever level design bundled with the story's exciting pacing and the jaw-droppingly awesome soundtrack , only to be wrapped up with the easy but exhilarating final boss.
To sum it up in one sentence: "Best 20€ I've ever spent on a DLC!"

It wasn't obvious until after the release of Splatoon 3 just how much this game offered to the overall franchise. If you dryly look at it on how it was at launch then yeah...I understand the disappointment, but i feel like this game did a lot of things right with one of them being Splatfests. I still haven't felt as excited for a Splatfest since they stopped organising them for Splatoon 2 and that majorly has to do with the implementation of the Shifty Stations and how fun even the worst ones were.

Innovating but still obviously flawed gameplay with a very fun but lacking single player experience. Still with the unique presentation and weirdly catchy soundtrack carrying a large part of the game, It quickly turned me into a loving fan.

Huge gameplay improvement with a lot of added features that constantly surprise and amaze you. Despite some of the slightly obvious plot twists, the game's story doesn't fail to continue and majorly expand over its predecessor while also keeping it to the perfect overall length. One of the greatest games to have ever been released.

A masterful follow-up and one of the best looking PS4 games to date. With a major gameplay improvements in the fighting and already unique traversal system but with a slightly worse pacing and slightly disappointing ending in my opinion. Still...it takes its place in my Top 3 list of favourite PS4 titles righteously.

Fixed the framerate and now it gets the 5 stars it originally deserved.
A blast to play, a blast to experience and a blast to platinum.

Only thing holding it back is the tiny little bit of the choppy framerate.
The 1# must have for the Vita~

Not really much to say...just perfection on a Blu-ray.
