The game is quite pretty and expressive, but a lot slower paced than I generally like. The later game bosses were shockingly brutal for how easy the stages were.

This is, without doubt, one of the best games on the GBA. The music is great, the pacing is quite quick and satisfying, and it's a real looker.

I have no real complaints about the game whatsoever.

This game was alright. Shockingly easy for the most part for a game from '94 that isn't Mario or Kirby. My biggest pet peeve is this game does the "your character just sticks to the wall" kind of wall jump. Which can get you killed a decent amount of time.

It was also shorter than I expected.

I'm kind of mixed on this game. The gameplay is generally fine, the variety in locales was nice. But the music is pretty forgettable, the level design mediocre, and the entire last third of the game is filled with tons of padding.

The story isn't particularly great either. Whether that's due to stuff like character limitations or translation issues, or just the story not being that good. It tries to be this almost melancholic story about growing up and whatnot but it really falls flat.
