Game is great. Tight gameplay and fun exploration. Everyone I've heard complain about this game never even played it.

Fun, but the AC formula became stale here. One of the best parts of the AC games for me is taking part in historical events. That was so poorly implemented I didn't even know the revolution had started until I stumbled on an execution.

My favorite soulsborne game. The fast-paced, challenging combat that demands you pay attention to it, the gothic setting, the music, everything about this game is a masterpiece. It may be my favorite game from the PS4 generation.

The gameplay is tight and the new vaulthunters are fun to play around with. That said, the writing (which was my favorite part of BL2) sucks and they tried to shove an insert character down our throats. My purchase of BL4 heavily depends on how much they push Ava on us.

Love this game. It's probably my favorite non-FromSoftware soulsborne game. That said, it's not perfect. The game was pretty easy overall, but that could very well be based on the mechanic of always having an NPC with you. I plan in replaying it without a companion to see if that changes my opinion on the game.

2016

Played this on my vanilla PS4 and it felt like my system was going to melt from the sheer awesomeness of this game. (I later upgraded to a Pro and it runs without any issues)

Such an amazing game. Loved the characters, the story, the gameplay, all of it. It doesn't get full 5 stars though because it did have framerate issues on my PS3 and it crashed from time to time.

A huge step down from DA:O. They turned a strategy driven RPG with brutal combat into a hack-n-slash where enemies exploded on impact. The thought out dungeons were replaced with a handful of maps that they used over and over again. This was the beginning of the end for BioWare in my mind as this showed EA pushing them into making yearly releases.

It's a fantastic game filled with beauty and blood, just like the classic samurai flicks that they were channeling. Loved every minute of this game.

Combat is good, but I play these games for the characters and story, and both of them were dollar store cookie cutters.

Lackluster single player campaign. Don't care for online shooters.

Years ago I got to the final boss and he's super obnoxious. No desire to finish it at this point.

Hard to give this a high or low score. It's the first of its kind and it hasn't aged very well, but we wouldn't have the FPS genre without this game.

Breathed new life into a dead series. Loved every minute of this game even when I was swearing out some of the harder enemies.
