Currently playing it!! Review so far (subject to change):
+ Awesome combat! Very addictive!
+ Theres a good quantity of spells and the fact that you can modify them thanks to the skill tree is pretty cool
+ Sebastian story is the most interesting so far in the game, really want to see where it goes
+ The Atmosphere inside Hogwarts is recreated beautifully, especially thanks to: 1) a faithful recreation of its most iconic areas, 2) a very good set of teachers and ghosts who are clearly giving a nod to the movies and/or HP older games, a huge amount of secrets/puzzles/collectibles and a great use of music and sound that keeps the school alive
+ I love The Room of Requirement, the fact that it also lets you keep your animals in there is sick! (only wish there more interactions available with the animals)
+ The Old magic lore/plot is very interesting
+ The addition of a broom/mount to travel around is great
+ The fast travel is pretty much seamless
+ I've encountered just a few bugs so far and the framerate has always remained pretty stable (playing in performance mode)
+ Normal difficulty is perfect for not having to worry too much while also enjoying the combat and having trouble with harder enemies/hordes
+/- The world map outside of Hogwarts and Hogsmeade is really big, maybe even too big for my liking... (exploring it is rewarding but hopefully it doesn't become too repetitive after a while...)
+/- Some of the spells are basically the same just with a different color lol
+/- Main story is not that great, Imma have to wait and see how it progresses tho
+/- Side missions are just okay, not great not bad
+/- All the side characters are decent, only a few of them are making me interested in how their story progresses tho (mainly Sebastian, Poppy and Natty)
- Main villain, "Ranrok", has been pretty basic and uninteresting so far
- Not being able to play Quidditch sucks man...
- The longer I play the more it seems like I have Main Story missions always outside of Hogwarts... I feel like I'm losing the magic of being in it... I would love to have more "school" related stuff (actual lessons, random interactions with other students and/or professors, etc...)
- Lodgoks death was meh, didn't connect with the character at all
- Really disappointed with FIg's character, was expecting more but he is kinda useless and never around
