Barring a couple of nitpicky changes, the definitive and most convenient way to play the best game in the series, although the IR controls will be sorely missed.
ITS REAL
The Pikmin formula (IMO) perfected and brought to modern standards, also one of the few blessed games that make clever use of the GamePad, plus IR pointing controls are bliss.
A solid start to the series, not too crazy about it but I respect it for kickstarting it all, and the "New" controls are arguably the best the series is gonna have.
Unremarkable, but not the heaping pile of trash it's made out to be.
I've dropped this game so many times that it's safe to assume that I actually don't like playing it, be it because of the ugly dungeons or the unrelenting enemy encounter design.
