The story to this game is very dissimilar to other final fantasy games, but is still fantastic in its own right. The characters feel extremely alive and each have their own fantastic backstory and they all grow as the story progresses. The open world section later in the game is quite boring but other than that there was no moment where I wasn’t captivated by the gameplay and music.

This game is a great entryway into souls games. If one boss is too hard you can go explore another area and come back later.
