Someone invented this really neat service that can deliver dopamine straight to your brain, weird that they called it Vampire Survivors though

This basically feels like a really cool flash game I would have randomly discovered in 2010 or something and that’s really neat.

Doesn't feel that great to play compared to 2002, but it's still KOF so it's pretty decent.

Dumb fun, junk food. Really is carried by its unique gameplay mechanics because the story isn't really doing anything and neither is the mission design. Really hilarious for some reason too? Unintentionally funny, I should clarify. I guess I recommend it but don't expect to get a ton out of it.

Also the performance on PC is abysmal, holy shit.

(Reviewed after playing the entire "Sam Barlow Trilogy" as I call it: Her Story, Telling Lies, & Immortality)

"We created the perfect story. I watched you die and live. But they squandered it. It changed nothing."

I fucking love this game. Unfortunately the nature of this game's existence means that I can say very little about it without spoiling something that should be a very personal and profound experience. I've said that Sam Barlow's games are best experienced with friends but this one I think is equally as valuable when played solo. There's simply so much to think about narratively and emotionally. The thematic elements in this game stew together and by the end you're left with so many different things to think about.

Barlow's best work by far, and one of the best game's I've had the pleasure of playing and experiencing this year.

I'm gonna watch the blue birds fly
Over my shoulder
I'm gonna watch them pass me by
Maybe when I'm older
What do you think I'd see
If I could walk away from me

Hilarious and surprisingly fun, lots of creative game mechanics too. TO ANOTHER PLANEEE!!

Haven't played since 2014, probably still good

once optimization improves, it'll be amazing

I hope Johnny Depp is having a rotten day

The slower game speed is a big sticking point, but SSF2 (that name sounds familiar) does deserve props for being Street Fighter's introduction to the CPS-2 engine. The music sounds better, the visuals are more crisp, and we get Cammy. And 3 other guys I guess, but Cammy's the cool one.

The best Castlevania game (genuinely)

Wowwwww what a mess. A nonsensical story with level design that boils down to either fight 30 enemies in a room or fight Warden Eternal, or as I call him, big breadstick. Why didn't they just make this a side game about Locke hunting down Halsey, man. Oh yeah also the NPC AI is GODAWFUL.

I wrote this while listening to Toad Sinatra - My Way on Youtube. Very fitting
