Timeless.

Best wrestling game ever made? If not number 1, it's definitely in the conversation. From the quick, slick, enjoyable gameplay that somehow doesn't get old, to the fleshed out and ever so accurate and fun season mode, this game nails the atmosphere of wrestling and does so in a big way.

This was my first time playing it since I was a young kid, and I had as much fun now as I did back then. I don't know how they pulled it off, but it really is a TIMELESS game.

One for the ages. One I'll never forget .

And that's the bottom line...

A Bolt of Brilliance!

This could be described as a hybrid blend of the Pokemon world, Ace Attorney and Danganronpa and I loved every second of it.

Incporating the Pokemon world in a way we have never seen before, I found myself (a fan of detective games in general. And a huge Pokefan) enthralled by this easter egg filled adventure set in the gritty Ryme City.

A very fun, colourful game that doesn't overstay its welcome and will have you waiting to return to Ryme City once again.

A truly enjoyable pokemon experience.

Wonder.

The title name truly describes the experience you get playing the latest 2D mario release. A game that will go down in the history books as one of the greatest 2D platformers ever made and the game that very well may lead a revival on the genre.

A colourful, musical, exciting experience jam packed with intricate level design and innovative gameplay. This is a game that will stand the test of time, a shining beacon for future games to come.

Indie spirit.

This game bolsters a beautiful art style that sweeps you from screen to screen leaving an impact on your senses. The visuals are well accompanied by a beautiful plot that is as short as it is sweet.

A single sitting game which is worth the time spent enjoying it. I'm sure I'll visit this again one day.

Moving.

On the surface this cute, cosy game is a bundle of laughs and fun...

But through great story telling, the journey and stories along the way are truly moving. A game that really rides its emotional highs while still maintaining that fun vibe we have come fo expect from a Mario game. This remake is perfect in every way, helping to bring a masterpiece to a new generation.

An incredible game, journey and story all wrapped into one.

An escape room at home.

My wife and I are self admitted escape room enthusiasts. Few things match the immersiveness and rush of an escape room... yet this game nails it on the head.

It really is a true escape room experience and the unique art style helped to give the game a strong personality and set the standard for the atmosphere and feel of the game. With an incredible DLC and another on the way I cant wait to forget the puzzles so we can play again.

One of my absolute favorite games, and the game that revolutionised the indie gaming market (for better or worse, depends if you like walking sims).

From the very second you are swept into the game you can almost taste rhe atmosphere. It's thick. You take a few steps and the narration starts, and with the narration the atmosphere is almost overwhelming.

This indie gem lives and dies by its atmosphere and for me, it lives, greatly. 3 times played and everytime I pick it up the music and the setting sweep me away and transport me to this little island to relive the horrors of those before me. A remarkable effort and venture into a genre which at the time was yet to take flight.

Aesthetic.

Minutes into this game you're hit with the full force of what to expect in regards to design, music and all around aesthetic. A whirlwind of colour, violence and backing tracks that will have your eyes glued to the screen and your adrenaline at its peak.

Through highly addictive gameplay and a Lynch-esque story this game will be one that's hard to put down and that's hard to forget. Truly a gem.

Cannot wait to play the sequel.

Culture.

Guacamelee is a dive into the world of Mexican culture in the best way. From visual design to music to the way Lucha wrestling is incorporated into combat, this game is a all thrills festival of fun and culture.

While some mildly frustrating design concepts bog this down enough to make me not give it a 5, it's still sitting right on that edge. Here's to hoping the sequel gets a 5 star.

Truly enjoyable game

Vibrant.

The Minish Cap is a vibrant game in all regards. The visuals pop, delivering some of the best visuals The GBA had to offer, the world, story and music all deliver what we have come to expect from 2D zelda, all put together to create what could very well be considered the most Zelda-esque Zelda game made.

It doesn't do anything new for Zelda but what it does do is gives the player a Hyrule, a story and a world that would make any Zelda fan feel right at home.

A very fun adventure and a very beautiful game. This remains one of my favorite Zelda games.

Short But Sweet.

A true little gem of a game, this one is for the fanatics.

Ever dreamt of riding through beautiful locations and capturing pictures of Pokemon all for Prof. Oak to half blindly say it wasn't good enough? This has you covered.

A truly beautiful game for the n64, and a tribute to the world of pokemon. This 5 hour adventure will have you itching for more (lucky for you there's a sequel now). This is a game I go back to every now and then. And everytime it brings a smile to my face.

Suffering.

This game goes out of its way to live up to its title. A game full of suffering, pain and sorrow. And yet, one of the best gaming experiences I've had the pleasure of experiencing.

A game where every choice you make comes back to bite you and where every relationship you build can just as easily crumble.

Paired with a beautiful soundtrack, a grounded, well fleshed out grimdark fantasy world and striking book-esque visuals this game is one for the ages. May the Twin Gods watch over you.

A fun little puzzle adventure beat em up game targeted towards kids. As a huge Star Trek fan I had to pick it up regardless and was pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable it was. More enemy variety would have been appreciated, but co-op play keeps the game fun nonetheless. Score may be a bit higher than deserved due to my Trek bias but such is life.
