The gameplay loop of these old BioWare games are truly timeless. The first world Tarris was such a joy to explore and go through and do all the side quests. I don't know how they did it but every option I could've chosen had fully voiced dialogue and I was more and more impressed the longer the game went on.

The game itself was so much longer than I thought it was going to be. I thought that this would have been like 30 hours or so and by the end it took me 84! I was not prepared for that and it is the reason that it took me over a year and a half to finish.

The game was a pain in the ass to setup with all the mods for a modern playthrough. Took about 100+ mods and 3 hours to install them one by one.

The main reason why I wanted to play through this was because I have fond memories of watching my cousins play through this when I was a child. I remember sitting cross legged on the floor for hours while they went through Tarris and Dantooine to pass the jedi trials. It reminds me of a simpler time.

After sitting on it for a couple days, I couldn't stop thinking about it. I am glad to have played it for myself.

Although, I was not expecting to have to play the game 3+ separate times to be able to say I "Beat" the game.

Most of my confusion came from the fact that the entire time I was playing I felt like the gameplay was always coming second. It felt like sure, there were all these mechanics such as fusing plug-in chips, combat, and weapons but all of it felt unnecessary because the main story was the most compelling part to keep playing.

I felt like this was more like a movie/show pretending to be a game.

I would say to not grind out the best plug-in chips and just go at whatever pace you feel like because you can be TOO strong and just one shot things if your build is too good. Also, the side quests don't give that great of loot anyways but they were enjoyable for the most part for world building. It's better just to fuse what you need at a good rate.

The OST is one of the best I've heard in any game. And the song playing during ending 'E' with the additional choir felt quite special.

Also, 2B's costume design is basically perfect and will be iconic forever.

Think I got this game for free as part of the "sorry" when PSN got hacked back in 2012. Game is not very good.

Moment of silence for the poor kid in 1987 who had to play this without 20x speed and the wiki.

They really fixed all the problems wrong with the combat and pacing with the first game. It's a shame that nobody played it.

This game was like 60% "oh, hey that's kinda neat. I see what you did there." and 40% "bruh... are you serious.".

This game felt broken towards the very end. I think there was so much content on the disc it like couldn't handle it by the end. I liked how permanent the choices you made felt and it is a very cool time to play from this save file into the other games in the series. It honestly is the best part about this game.

Back when I was a kid this game was top tier.

2010

This game was very difficult but I had some good memories with it. It took forever for you to get into the main domination game mode or whatever but when you finally did it felt very cool at the time to be part of such a large team game with so many other people. I'm pretty sure it was just a gimmick however, since the giant pool of 256 people were split into 4 smaller battles all happening at the same time. So four different 32 vs 32 groups and you couldn't walk around to the other groups on the other side of the map if I remember correctly.

The main weapons were not very good but the DLC weapons for like $5 were great. Pay to win for sure.

There was a giant patch that completely changed how the game leveling worked I remember. Before the patch, the best way to get the most experience and level quickly was to sit behind the front lines and use your heal spray to heal people who were actually shooting the enemy team for kills. I think a kill was like +10 exp or something but healing a teammate was like +20 exp. Very broken but I have a lot of fond memories playing this with a close friend.

It's honestly a shame that this is now a dead game with all the servers being shut down. I would've enjoyed going back and playing on those maps again.

When I was a kid I played this a bunch of times and had a good time. All I remember is the chocolate jet ski level. I don't even remember what the point of this game is anymore.

Back when I was a kid who couldn't read this was my favorite thing ever.

When I was a child this game traumatized me. The first level with the mummy was too much for little me to handle. I don't think I've ever moved past this fear since...

Wasted a lot of time obsessing over how to make the most money possible. Not even sure if there are other people in the town.

Played this as a kid and had a lot of fun with it. I am still scared of the thing in the first level's attic to this day...

Interesting game that was fun to work through with a pen and paper taking notes. Finished it all in one session but had to look online for a summary of the story once we finished to make sure we didn't miss anything.
