I try to rate somewhat objectively, but objectivity isn't really possible or desirable here, so some reviews can seem inconsistent. 5 and 4 stars for favorites, and 3 stars for things that I enjoyed but fall short. I usually don't bother with rating anything under 2.5 stars.
I love reading and history, so games with a lot of reading and/or historical themes tend to really catch my attention. Heavily biased towards RPGs, but I tend to enjoy all genres.
