I've been speechless ever since I finished the game for the first time. It's not only well crafted, but easily surpasses every game in the genre. The gritty and unnerving atmosphere climaxes in one of the best artistic achievements in the industry. If this game was eligible for something like the oscars, it would snatch away best cinematography and sound design. Playdead have outdone themselves in every imaginable aspect. The shockwave-scene with the soundtrack by Martin Stig Andersen is one of the best scenes I've seen in a game.

Don't miss out.

It's mind blowing that this and Breath of the Wild came out the same day. Such different takes on the open world genre, but both so masterfully done. Really enjoyed the combat in this game; feels as fun as fighting robot dinosaurs should feel.

I never thought I’d say this—but I think the zombies is my favorite part of this? I’ve never been big on zombies before, but I think they mastered the gameplay loop and made it more accessible, also the fact that you actually progress MP guns and unlock unique zombies camos and challenges helps a lot too. the campaign is pretty cool and fun, but kinda short. the multiplayer is typical cod multiplayer. sometimes i wanna smash my head against the monitor, but I’ll probably put multiple full time days into it regardless. i like cod.

pretty dope, but it falters quite a bit in the final act. couldn’t help but compare this to alien: isolation (since i just played it) and this is not quite as good.
