A fun little game that suffers from one massive problem: massive rooms combined with a running speed that's just a bit too slow. This makes backtracking a pain which in a metroidvania, is kind of a problem.

An interesting attempt to bring more classic Castlevania gameplay to 3D that falters once you realize that this game suffers from rampant copy and pasting of rooms. Still has the goofy Castlevania soul and delightful voice acting

An interesting if not very original little horror game. The first half taking place on a constantly rocking boat in the middle of a terrible storm is a unique premise.

A delightful game marred by minigames and other playable characters of highly variable quality

This sequel to Soul Reaver picks off exactly where it left off. This game presents an interesting story about fate, predestination and the immutability of history told through Raziel, a Vampire turned Wraith. However, this Interesting story can't save a game that is intensely linear, incredibly back track heavy and filled with combat that ranges from dull to frustrating. Things like optional items to increase maximum health, glyphs to perform powerful spells and optional areas in general are gone, leaving no incentive to ever do anything but run straight to the next objective. Unless you simply have to play the game to see it for yourself you are much better off looking up the cutscenes online
