i am so fucking tired of every game being sekiro. please god can one acton game come out where you do something besides read animations and deflect on the right key frames. can one historical game about the tokugawa shogunate have some personality to it and not be more boring than reading a book about the actual events. can one open world game come out and have shit to do in it thats fun and beneficial for more than just clearing icons and getting bigger numbers. anyway, Like a Dragon: Ishin! is available now on digital storefronts everywhere

I thought this a few months ago: how come theres so few feudal japan city management games? Feudal japan cooking games? Feudal japan RTS? I feel like theres more than just one way to incorporate this setting, especially when none of these action games do much different with the setting from each other.

Rephrasing that a bit Ishin really had a death by thousand cuts done to it with the remake and I find those Bakumatsu era events done way better here and not to mention this is the only other game closest to Sekiro on the market and even then it just plays like a nioh/sekiro mix

But I do agree despite the open world being pretty and those public order/fugitives being fun I still wanted more to do there that wasn't one or two horseback archery or firearm training per city lol
