2012

Ico is a game I really thought I wouldn't like but alas it became one of my favourites. Every single thing in this game is well thought out from gameplay to story and art. I really didn't feel like there was a single moment wasted.

The story is a minimalist one. only few words have been said in the game and half of it is gibberish in Egyptian like language. Hell the two main characters don't share a common but share a very human relationship. But that doesnt hold it from being heartfelt.

The gameplay feels pretty good with animations neons ahead of its time. There's a noticeable lack of hdd, prompts, Healthbars... etc. they simply leave you alone with the game to explore and experiment.

The level design is incredible with gorgeous areas and well made puzzles. if I could compare it to any other game I would say its Prince of Persia but set somewhere in the The Orient in an ancient ruined temple.

The ending and last boss especially were unexpectedly well done. Never thought a game with barely any combat managed to make a good last boss.

Overall fantastic game the fuzz around it is well deserved, and when I played it it made me feel a kid like sense of wonder and exploration. For me personally it made me feel like I was watching a studio ghibli movie.

10/10 with badass seal of approval.

Peak based epic im on my knees Lucifier is my wife

Fantastic game have alot of good stuff to say about it but my problem being focused on adult life of a western man (I'm middle eastern) and that fact that K/Catherine are barely characters kills the story for me.

Erica is the BEST!

Silent Hill: Downpour is the eighth Silent Hill game in this wonderful series that have only three and half good games (being a SH fan is rough).

Downpour suffers from the plague that is called 7th gen gaming, and on top of that its using Unreal Engine 3!!! Now which is in my opinion the worst team up since Hitler and Mussolini.

Visually this game lacks any colours and has character models that look like they are made out of plastic. The enemy design, if you can call it that, are just filthy monster people covered in Unreal Engine 3 looking dirt. Some monsters look like they are big sperm that has arms and legs.

Combat is floaty and feels awful and somehow manages to be even less responsive than RDR2. You can pick up furniture, construction/farming tools, sticks, rocks and guns and you can break the game by throwing the mentioned weapons at the enemy. Hell I don't think I fired my gun except for the last area and a few times near the end because I got bored.

I don't remember any track save for one from SH1 and a Frank Sentra song . According to my friend the soundtrack is good (liars).

The Story exists I guess and its just James story from SH2 without the good writing, pacing, ETC.

The only saving grace for me is Murphy and the Cop woman.
Murphy is short and looks cute and screams funny and I wanna kiss him and hug him. While the Cop woman is cunty enough to be likeable. There was a black mail man that the game kinda forgot about but I liked him.

Overall not a bad game, but not a good game either. a very lukewarm Konami slop of its time that plays by the book far too closely and had a horrible execution for seemly decent and sometimes even great ideas.

6/10.

Wish the combat was a bit better, but overall fantastic game.

It's simply too boring. You spend the entire game slaving away and being a loyal dog to the most unlikable pathetic mob boss imaginable.

Tony's character might as well be Claude but with fun moments here and there. The worst thing is that they get you excited for nothing at the early part of the story where Tony had enough of one of his bosses and decided to trash his car as payback but THATS IT. Later on you end up killing that guy with seemly no consequence to the story.

The gameplay is budget GTA SA. The map is GTA 3 but remade in SA's engine.

Fear and Hungary may look like a typical RPG but its a survival horror game through and through.

There is no level up you get nothing for fighting the enemies most of the time. And even low level can poison you, infect you or cut off limbs which can be a game over if you don't have the proper items to cure yourself.

Some checks require you to toss a coin to decide the outcome and unlike most rpgs where you get a funny line of dialogue or 1 coin instead of 5 if you fail in Fear and Hunger you will most likely die a brutal death.

Saving the game is a limited resource, and I'm not talking about the old RE games "limited saves" where they shower you with ink ribbons, no, in this game you either find a rare item that allows you to save or pass a coin toss check on a bed for a chance to save and if you fail it then... tough luck.

The story isn't in your face but the game welcomes you with its rich lore if you are interested enough.

Now on to the negatives: This game despite being an RPG maker game it can LAG your pc to oblivion and on top of that its bugged to shit near the late game. Ive had many bugs that almost soft locked me or ruined my run but thankfully theres a mod to fix things.

Overall fantastic experience but you need to invest time and patients and have a minimum of 2-3 hours of play sessions. but be warned its not for the faint of heart.

A big improvement over Battle Raper 1 but what kills it is that your only alllowed to have consensual sex wtf????? what's the point even in playing this shit

Started this game thinking "It can be THAT bad I enjoyed it as a kid" and ended with me cursing the developer with 10 generations of cancer.

half of the missions in this game don't even including driving which is a blessing in disguise because the driving in this DRIVER game fucking sucks and its mostly due to the garbage physics. for example you drive over a curb and there is a good chance that it sends you to Allah or does nothing. And its not like the shooting is any good either it just not and DO NOT GET ME STARTED ABOUT THE GOD. DAMN. FUCKING. BOATS.

Driv3r clearly suffers from being rushed out of door before GTA SA, but unlike modern games you release a game like this and you are damned forever and I don't think anyone bothered to rerelease a definitive addition.

The only good side of Driv3r 3 is how well done the cutscenes, music and story are nothing mind-blowing but it does stands out compared to the rest of the game. I just wish the in game mission music wasn't a 5 seconds loop.

And then you reach the end of the game where it leaves you off on some shoehorned cliff hanger and tells you to fuck off. Thanks game.

Overall steer clear of the game there are many kino Driver games to play like 1, 2 and San Francesco, hell even Parallel lines is decent. Driv3r 3 is simply not worth the effort time and brain power.

soul vs soulless resident evil 4 comparison

I enjoy it quite a bit despite getting bullied by my friends on discord throughout the whole game.
