One of the greats of the total war franchise. Showing it's age.

Tons of potential, sadly abandoned by the incompetent devs. The ACE community modding project is effectively continuing development, but there are severe performance issues with the game itself that makes long saves sort of untenable.

A lot of the stages are stupid, but it was fun for me as a kid, and with enough modding can be saved.
