It took too long for me to play Wii Sports Resort and the wait was worth it. It’s such a joyful experience from the moment you start the game to playing all the minigames with someone. My brother and I love the sword fighting and table tennis the most, it’s crazy fun. It only makes Nintendo Switch Sports more of a shame for how that game turned out. The sport mates have nothing on Mii!

This is an alright party game and it’s intriguing to see where the Mario Party series would be inspired by from ND Cube. I got to thank my brother for playing this game with me, it wouldn’t have been as fun without him. The minigames are decent, but the game in general feels like too much RNG to win at the different modes. The Miis help to brighten up the colorful experience and they are found throughout the game. From the title screen to even bingo cards, the Miis shine so nicely here. I have no idea why either this game or its Wii U sequel cost around $50 on the aftermarket. Is it really that good or did they make 10 copies total for YouTubers to use on their gaming channels?

Welcome back Devil May Cry 2.

It’s a shame Wii Play Motion seems to be lost to time. I enjoy all the unique minigames and uses of the Wii MotionPlus here. Each minigame being developed by a small scale studio close to Nintendo is also such a charming idea. It’s unlikely we will ever see a game like this made again, it’s too cute. It’s proof how the simple Wii Remote can do a lot to make an exciting experience not found in other games and consoles out there.

The campaign is the main highlight I found in Splatoon 3. All the new changes added to the multiplayer I didn’t click with much. Map design feels too cramped, Tri Color Battle is a mess, and the 2 new weapons aren’t that fun to play. It seems the campaign was inspired by the Octo Expansion, which I probably should check out in the future. I think I would have been okay if Splatoon 2 was the only entry on the Switch tbh. Still a fun addition to the Switch library to play with friends!

This game can be both fun and rather annoying, like the first Rush was. Whether that be level design, bosses, or material gathering, I feel like there is something detracting me from the experience. They did improve upon some issues from Rush by having faster bosses and more forgiving stages, but I feel I like that game more. It’s a lot cooler in its style and soundtrack for a sweet early Nintendo DS game.

I kinda forgot this game came out due to how quickly the free updates wrapped up for this game. I like the story mode a lot, it has some challenging levels that left me wanting to complete them. It does get a bit repetitive so I recommend pacing yourself while playing the story mode. The builder mode looks nice, though I may make one stage and be done. Seems better on Wii U other than having more tools and the 3D World theme. A bit unfortunate the community for this game is mostly dead, and typical bad Nintendo online netcode…

Talk about a massive lift from the first game. I like that one, but it feels like a prototype after playing The Second Runner. Hi speed robot action goes so hard in this game! And to think Zone of the Enders 3 got canceled, I’m so bummed. Thanks to Hexadrive to fixing this HD edition…only in the PS3 version. Cygames did the PS4 version, which seems to be good. So many cool ideas left in this one cool mecha game people didn’t buy cuz there was no Metal Gear Solid 3 demo included…

Finished Sonic World. This is a showcase for what Sonic Adventure could have been on the SEGA Saturn. This is proof that the Nights engine was truly capable of doing beautiful 3D environments with little performance issues. This is a proof of concept that could have been dismissed, but kept as a bonus for Sonic fans wanting a full 3D adventure. This is Sonic Team bringing new SEGA fans into the series with 4 classic games. This is...Sonic Jam!

The Bayonetta 3 of the Gunvolt series, but I like the game a lot. Story is a bit iffy, but the gameplay is pretty sick. I love Kirin’s play style and GODvolt is ridiculously fun to zip through stages. I’d say Gunvolt 2 is still the peak of the series, though 3 is definitely stronger than 1 and the 2 chronicles games. So uh, it seems the Gunvolt series will be in spinoff purgatory for the foreseeable future…

As a Tekken 3 fan, this is a fun fighting game and great launch title for the PS2. The tag system is good and visually is a huge upgrade from the PS1 titles. Tekken 3 still holds up, not dissing it whatsoever but Tag Tournament is true next gen graphics!

Cool game, though other than the graphics I can't tell what 3 adds to the table. It feels like Dead or Alive 2 again, but on the Xbox. That means it's good since I like DoA2, so I'm not complaining too much.

The original Chibi Robo was Toy Story 2 all along! Pretty good for a licensed game and a fun 3D platformer as well. Definitely will listen to the soundtrack on my own as it is quite catchy. Bosses could have been a bit better though, especially the final boss. If only Toy Story 4 got a 3D platformer, maybe people would have liked it more…
