A step back from 4U in most ways, I don't really care for hunting styles or prowlers. Introduces some really great new monsters though. Still runs like s**t on the 3DS.

Great game and has the best story that the series has to offer as well as some fantastically unique monsters that we don't get to see often (Snake Wyverns, Toads and Zamtrios!), sadly it kinda runs like crap on the 3DS if you're fps-sensitive.

It's more Monster Hunter: World, but with better weapons, better monsters, better story, better world design, more replayability, better end-game... need I say more?

A masterful game that does pretty much everything right, the evolution that the series really needed. Elevated even further by the huge amounts of free post-launch content and the massive Iceborne expansion.

Dark Souls but with a bit of Bloodborne's energy infused into it. Has the best bosses in the Soulsborne series but is let down by lackluster world design compared to its peers.

This game can be fantastic and has some of the best characters and lore in the series, but people who say its the best souls game have a serious case of nostalgia goggles, as so many parts of this game are clearly unfinished or utter sh*t (Tomb of Giants/Lost Izalith).

The game itself is good, the changes made to how your character controls are awful. If your character moved and felt like Dark Souls 1/3, this would be a 4/5 easy.

There is no such thing as a perfect videogame, but this is the damn closest I've ever seen one get.
