great game, i usually dont like giving my money to indie developers because they're greedy money hungry pigs who are lazy and spend time gooning to newgrounds art but this was worth it. closet thing we'll get to see master chief in smash. and shadow. and crash bandicoot. and skibidi toi

i didnt even attempt to finish this shit, i got up to team dark robot storm and just gave up.
positives: i like the vibes, the music of course and the voice actors from the adventure era, who i like a lot :)
negatives: everything else. it honestly feels like you're playing a knuckles game 87% percent of the time, and it's not even fun its just press b three times and watch all the fuckers fly off the map like superman. when i am playing a sonic game, i want to play AS SONIC i want to go fast i wanna explore the map find extra lifes not punch robots like im in a street fight. even as sonic fucking sucks, why cant i spin dash? why cant i use the bounce bracelet? instead, i have to use the "rocket accel" which i used a total of 2 maybe 3 times. i dont even know what tails is doing like you use him constantly but only to hold the a button and maybe do an ariel attack if yuji naka isnt fucking around designing horrible stages that last up to 10 MINUTES 10 fucking minutes for a sonic stage btw while i can beat green hill act 1 in like 40 seconds and crisis city in 2 or 3 minutes.
combat sucks why is levelling up in a sonic game it resets after every stage so why bother "ohh but it rewards you for being good blah blah" stfu ls mar- i mean random northern irish bastard so did the adventure games and i didnt spend 8 - 10 minutes on a stage, even knuckles' stages in sa2, which i fucking hate didnt take that long. team dark was alright but maybe its because none of members has tonsilitis like tails or shadow is hotter than sonic. im not even going to attempt to beat this game in the future. maybe if it comes to steam and mods come out that eradicate knuckles from existince than maybe but i wouldnt pay for it.
anyways, its time to get edge

NON SPOILER REVIEW:
a massive improvement over the other games, the swinging, map, story and combat are better than the other two. gliding is a lot of fun and the symbiote abilities are great.

SPOILER REVIEW (aka the longer one):
a lot better than the other two stories that's for sure. kraven is a interesting character that i like a lot (even if he's just escharum from halo infinite but you didnt hear that from me) though his hunter goon squad was really not needed bro took out most of the sinister 6 hes fine.
martin li was a lot better too, i didnt like him in spiderman ps4 because his reasons were bland and HIS goon squad was bland and it went on and on and it never stopped. but know he like, has depth. craazzyyy i knowww. im really glad he didnt die in the ra's al ghul section in peters le head and i hope he appears again.
mj is also better, character and gameplay, i didnt hate her, quite the opposite i liked her a bit but those mj sections were stinky but now theyre good. how? because they gave her a fucking glock and her last segment in the last mission because a resident evil clone. also fucking scream showing up!?! shiver me timbers i wasnt expecting that!!!
miles is a lot better and im just going to stop saying that because everyone is better in this game but anyways the whatsapp danger guy. i like how pissed he is at the begining while peter is the emotional anchor r something but gets better and helps beter. bonus because i'm not writing another paragraph rio is cool better than the spider-verse rio dont try argue with me im right.
alright the negatives, the black suit arc, also the suit. i dont like the gooey beetle esc design on it but that's minor because i just used the black suit from spiderman 3. the actual story with him is uhhhhhhhhh so like he starts off pissed, because, y'know, he just died, but then he starts acting chipper, but then starts acting pissed again like make up your mind. to be fair when he is pissed its really fun like it's no "i'm gonna put some dirt in your eye" level of fury but still.
uhhh symbiotes are cool venom enimen he's the suit and i'm the suit and he's the suit and i'm the suit and he's the suit and i'm the suit and he's the suit and also carnage setup like omg let there be pronouns!!!!! and thanks for not setting up gwen stacy because idk much about cindy and i want to see her and i am so ready for 7 eleven joker

this was the only classic game i played the most, i got up to act 2 of chemical plant but still.
this is a lot better than the first game, more challenging and fun and actually works around the speed of sonic unlike the first game which turns a mario clone labryinth zone and after. i fucking hate aquatic ruins and i beat death egg zone first try

so retro!
web slinging is still fun and the combat is a lot better but the story is a LOT worse this time around. i wont say anything about miles' character because i know he gets a lot better in 2, the winter theming is actually fire and swinging around with itsv miles is top notch. still mid.

swinging is very very fun, combat is just a rip off of the arkham games and the story sucks ass when it's not an actual spider-man story. aunt may is kinda meh, still likable, and i couldnt give to fucks about fucking mr. negative. still very fun game but once i get a ps5 and spider-man 2 i'll never play this again.
