its ok too much visual shit going on the screen sometimes

What a year 2012 was, Dishonored, Far Cry 3, Borderlands 2, The Walking Dead, Mass Effect 3. XCOM: Enemy Unknown, Assassins Creed 3, Halo 4, Hotline Miami, Black Ops 2, Hitman, Sleeping Dogs. All amazing games and some genre defining classics and this game somehow managed to stand on its own along with these juggernauts. While not achieving the same praise as these games and even other Rockstar games, this game has been kinda left to time even today. For all the good the games done like how satisfying the gunplay is and how awesome the bullet time plays, the alright story holds it back for me in terms of it being better the MP2. I loved how goofy the ragdolls were, I loved the story of the hopeless romantic that is Max Payne, I loved the interactivity you had with the game world, and I loved Max's overall character which I would consider quippy in a heavy handed way. Max is still quippy in this game but its like the heavy hand was made of metal filled with concrete. Max quips but its delivered with the classic modern Rockstar edge and I dont know how I really feel about it. I guess thats what I can say about this entire game really, I like this game dont get me wrong but I cant bring myself to really put it over MP2, I can easily put it over MP1 even though the story for MP1 is a bit better but MP2 will always out do this game for me. I guess to best sum up this essay is that I like this game but I cant put it over its predecessor. This game is extremely underrated and personally I think everyone should try this one if they havent already.

A fantastic game and an improvement on every aspect from the foundation of the original Max Payne. A little bit of a bitch to set up on PC but when you get it to work its a masterpiece all the way through. The only disappointing thing is the length of the game because it is pretty short but it is an amazing experience through and through.

Really good early 2000s game with pretty decent gameplay. The story is a really huge highlight of the game and while the gamplay hasnt really aged as well its still very fun and worth playing if you have not already.

Probably one of the best first person shooters ever made. This game is probably also one of the toughest games i have played but it was indeed a welcome challenge. Still gotta play cryptic passage doe

Excels in what almost all lego games do which is that it gives me the hugest nerd boner

Pretty good old school fps. Decent gunplay and kinda lackluster story but held up by its unique gore effects and how almost every gun sounds like thunder rumbling

Definitely the best way to experience the old street fighters w/o emulation
