Still impressive 20 years later.

Gameplay is good for what it is. By far the most interesting thing about it is the story and how it ties into the events of HL1.

My first Puyo Puyo game. Stressful, yet addictive. I've played worse cartoon tie-in games.

There are some neat ideas in this pinball spinoff, but the gameplay is not great.

If you want to learn more about Black Mesa, then this expansion is worthwhile. It doesn't have as much going for it as Opposing Force, but it's a good time while it lasts.

Inoffensive, but boring and too easy. Any sense of challenge is a byproduct of the screen crunch on the Game Gear.

I got so tired of the grind that I didn't finish this DLC. The base game is worth playing, but the DLC is not.

Gilgamesh is one of my favorite characters. If only he got a worthy DLC.

I went out of my way to complete this, but it wasn't really worth it.

Came to kill Chaos, stayed for the genuinely great combat system.

Really good stuff, just ignore The After Years.

Just a slog to get through. Any interesting character moments are brought down by the repetitive story and boring gameplay.

Still a good game because it's FF4. The art style just isn't my cup of tea.

This version of FF3 is very grindy and the art style hasn't aged well, even on the Steam version. The Pixel Remaster is the better choice.

A good collection of two amazing games. Just not the ideal way to play them in 2024.
