At first I couldn't catch the controls of this platformer, I always keep falling down from a high place or didn't shot the enemy in time, losing a life on the spot.
However, the more I learned about it, the more I started to get it. That's what I like about retro games like this one, you become good over time if you're persistent.
There are some levels that act like a puzzle, you'll need to keep an eye on your environment, inventory and your character's abilities.
Quite a surprise I got with this adventure.

My brother and I played this together. It was a classic experience, playing split screen co-op with someone on the same couch.
The game is clever with most of the activities you must complete with the help of your partner.
The story feels like a good old action flick.
If you stick until the end with your partner then you'll be as surprised as us. What an ending!
Don't change your partner during your first playthrough of the game, kinda ruins the experience.
We are on our second round, looking for alternate routes in the game history.

This game follows some of the rules established by series like Mega Man, it fulfills its work as a nice side-scroller platformer.
And why is the music so awesome?
Much more enjoyable if you're an AVGN fan or have played some of the classic games this one references.

I bought this game due to a great discount in the store, then I had to watch the show. I didn't feel like jumping into an anime game without enough context. I have no regrets, the anime was great.
The game is fine, it has cool animations for the 1 vs 1 encounters and some arenas suffer from the force of the fights.
Playing it with the Japanese dub is more enjoyable, but I'm not demeriting the job with the English dub. It depends on how you watched the show.
You shouldn't play this game if you haven't watched the anime series.

I'd never played any game of the series, but I had to try it due to the relevance of the franchise.
It was a nice experience, nothing like losing a lot of times until finally get it.
The battle against the last two bosses is quite a challenge.

It is my first experience with the series.
I thought this game was a GTA alike, but I was wrong. Although you can use weapons, learning how to deal with the thugs with your bare hands using four different fighting styles feels great.
The story is simple and straight to the point.
There are so many bizarre and funny moments during the substories that I laughed more than once.
Some subtories and the grinding for one of the fighting styles are the weak points of the game.
I'm definitely gonna continue with Kazuma Kiryu's story.
