One of the greats for the N64. It may have aged a bit when it comes to the overworld. (remember that 3D gaming was still relatively new and exciting, so you can sorta understand why they made the areas so big.)
But if you can see pass that you are in for a very memorable adventure with wacky characters and a brilliantly composed soundtrack to boot.
A great introduction to the franchise.

While "Starring Goemon" introduced a sprawling world to explore. "Goemons Great Adventure" is more inline with the previous titles on the super famicom. Very fun co-op platformer that is easy to pick up and play. And just like the other games, the music is undoubtedly a highlight.
Simply a classic that should stand tall right with the platformer giants.

This is as close to perfection you can get for a 2D platformer. It oozes atmosphere while having varied themes and locations. And the game rewards those who goes the extra mile to nab all the secrets with extra levels. Casually or completionist, it doesn't matter. There's a great and challenging game in store for you.

An almost perfect conversion to one of the greatest games of all time.
Every VR Shooter I play will be directly compared to this title. Everything feel intuitive and natural. Which allows you to put all your focus on the action ahead instead of fiddling with bullshit controls. Something I feel is lacking in many VR shooters I tried.
