Best story and themes, the Pokedex has some pretty odd looking mons but most look very nice once you get used to them, lots of places to explore for this franchise and fantastic soundtrack. This is where objectively the mainline Pokemon games peaked

I really like how this game looks and plays, but is tremendously short. Is a fun run but you can easily 100% in one sitting

I'm very, and I mean, VERY bad at fighting games, this one included. Yet, I had a blast with this one no matter how much I lost, maybe is the music, scenarios or charismatic characters, or maybe thinking that I can get a bit better with every new fight. Did I get better? I doubt it, but it was so much fun to play anyways

Probably the best and most convenient way to experiment the classic SMB games

Provides a journey that feels like a truly spiritual experience, it all fits perfectly into the game's narrative and story, which is told beautifully. Even if short, you actually feel all what this game provides you every time you replay

I'll admit that my five star rating is due mostly to nostalgia, it is far from perfect if compared with other Monster Hunter games, especially if you want to get introduced to the series. However, if you want a taste of "classic" or even so called "old" Monster Hunter, this is the most polished title out of the bunch, what Demons Souls is to the From Software titles to put it some way. Very hard to fully master with extremedly difficult missions in the higher ranks, plus some unfair hitboxes, it can take a while to learn the proper movement to hunt in this game, but if you play it A LOT like I did back in the day you start to see the little opening some montsers give you.
Still, this is a very hard game that I only recomend if, like me, you have any nostalgic attachement, if you're up for a fairly elevated challenge, or want to experience "vintage" Monster Hunter

Massive improvement in every aspect compared not only to Undertale but also from the previous chapter

A true masterpiece, fantastic from it's artistic presentation and gameplay, easy to pick up and rewarding to master, with a colorful world just begging to be explored. The story is simple yet full of both comical and emotive moments, especially at the end, the final boss is one of the best I've ever encountered in gaming, taking advantage of everything you've learned so far, not to mention the incredible music. This is a game everyone should try at least once on their lifetime.

Evolva is a great game that I think has aged very well, and that is thanks to the fact that it knows its limitations. One of the big things that makes me say this is the way you can order each Genohunter around, each command is basic but it gives away the path to try different strategies depending on how you want to position them.

The second thing is that the A.I is not perfect, but the developers took this into consideration. The game has mini screens that show what each Genohunter sees in real time, and whenever the A.I is having troubles this screen will flash repeatedly, signaling to the player that they need a bit of help to move around, this helps a lot in some levels since at time your team will have to separate.

The combat is super simple and I'll admit a bit tedious, but is fun most of the time, and the different enemies pose a good challenge.

The coolest mechanic is of course the evolution of the Genohunters, it happens in real time and you have to take in account the cost/benefit of each one, but most of the time is good in the end and looking at your characters slowly change in appearence as the game progresses is, again, cool.

And lastly one of my favorite parts is the ambientation, the world and creatures feel truly alien and weird, that added to the fact that you can very much tell the "early 2000's aesthetic" in the modeling and texture, top that is some amazing music that immediately tells you taht you are in a hostile planet, and this game just sells itself to me that easy.
