My favorite entry in the series and one that I think should be played by all. This remake brought new life into the classic 2002 game with its new updated graphics, while still keeping the charm of the original's style. Though not adding much in terms of content, the base game itself is perfect, an epic tale with amazing combat, items and iconic characters. And the sea travel is my favorite mode of transportation in the entire series, as the sea is full of mystery and perils, making this game truely feel alive.

A great and fun new entry into the series after 5 years without any games. With a more open world still approach, the game has expansive islands, along with the best combat system in the franchise and the best boss fights in the series as Super Sonic. However the islands you travel feel barren and too similar. The cyberspaces also feel too similar to each other, not having much difference in level design and objective.
A fresh new 2D mario, full of character. The design of the game is beautiful with its new and unique art style, level designs and music. The badge system was fun addition to the gameplay, along the the challenge stages. However the game was a bit short and Bowser Jr. shouldn't have been every world boss fight, although I did like the different elements in each fight.
I don't get the hate for this game, this game has been man hunted for what it is, but to me this game was one thing, fun. I enjoyed playing missions and fighting bosses, however I believe this game must be played with friends to be fully enjoyed. But during play sessions, it was common to run into bugs and issues with the game.

I love the fast speed intensity of this game, its what made this game different from all other platformers at the time. However this speed can only be felt in Greenhill zone, as all the others don't allow that fast pace movement due to their level design. The game is short only with six zones, but this game was the start to a franchise with plenty of games I hold dear.

This game took what Breath of the Wild had, and brought so much more. The inclusion of the sky islands and the depths made the hyrule in this game feel so much different and more expansive. The new abelites are far better than Breath of the Wilds and the weapon system is far better too with the fuse mechanic. The story is basic, but a fantastic one. Overall, one of the superior games in the series and one of the best switch games to dates.

Acting technically as Sonic 3 for the franchise, this game brought some new and unique mechanics to the franchise, most notable is the time travel mechanic which utilized sonic's speed. However it gets tedious to find the perfect stretch of level to preform time travel, and the level design of the zones are a downgrade from sonic 2. The most notable thing this game did was introduce Amy and Metal sonic
Another fantastic entry into the series, as the two games combined into one is the peak of sonic's original genesis run. Introducing new franchise staples, like Knuckles and the master emerald, multiple playable characters with their own unique abilities and knuckles having his own story line compared to sonic and tails truly makes this one of sonic's best.

I great game to celebrate the 20th year of sonic. Bringing back old zones to play as Modern and classic gameplay is an amazing idea. Every Zone spanning the series is iconic enough to celebrate and each modern and classic act of each zone is different from one another. Plenty of side content and the skill ability is a neat idea, however I think the game should have had a few more regular zone levels and more bosses.
