This game knocks it out so hard. The levels are great, the villains are awesome, the gameplay is fun. Ethan is my favourite RE protag, the best dad ever. I really cannot show my love for the big reveal at the end to the ending, Ethan fucking rocks.

I understand why the original was such a banger when I played this. It is immensely satisfying to explore this mansion Metroidvania style and playing it tighter and tighter over multiple runs. The backgrounds are fucking gorgeous.

Can't really compare this to the original, but I thought it was frustratingly tough in a good way. Exploring locations is fun, and Mr. X was dope.

Not amazing, but pretty fun. I played like 2 playthroughs and I think thats all I ever need.

The Baker estate rules, and everything up to the mines is awesome. The Bakers are probably the most tragic villains in RE, that scene where Jack talks to you in the Hivemind is so good. Besides that, I dont think I'd play this again.

I think a RE hero shooter type thing could be fun, but Capcom cannot make a good online multiplayer RE game to save their lifes.

Putting it here afterwards because I just touched the game for a couple minutes and couldn't handle it. Also watched it all and I wish they remade this. The story is cool, I kind of fuck with Alfred (not the way they are portrayed obv), and Steve rules sorry!

Maybe it was just a STRONG adverse reaction to touching this game for the first time, but I literally thought this game was the worst thing I ever touched movement wise, everything made me feel sick.

I did watch the whole game though, and boy does the plot seem stupid in an infuriating way. Jake and Sherry are the best parts easy.
