I really love this game! I found myself playing this game for like 11-12 hours on the weekend. Like I would be playing this game with a friend and I'm like, "oh, it's 5am." Glad I picked it up because I haven't found myself this lost in game in years.

Let me say that this is a very good game and I would definitely recommend to anyone. There's a couple reasons why I enjoy this game. Like how the turrets make fun of you and over humor of the game. As well as you finding out over the course of the game that the place your in isn't what it appears to be. Some rooms can be very unsettling as well. The atmosphere is also really good. So go play the game now you won't regret.
First game I ever played so I have to love it. No other game is like it in the series only complaint is the amount of effort you need to go through to unlock everything.

I really love this game. I think I can really put my thoughts into words after playing it's sequel Dark Souls 3 and compare them. I think Dark Souls 1 is such a magical experience like you can play through the world and it feels magical which I don't think Dark Souls 3 can replicate. After playing Dark Souls 3 (which was a great game) I feel like I a much greater feeling for this game, I almost feel nostalgic for it despite only first playing it 7 months ago. I think Dark Souls 3 is a better game but in Dark Souls 1 the bosses feel more unique and the world just has a magical feeling to it which Dark Souls 3 lacks (Ik that's on purpose). In summary I feel at home when I play Dark Souls 1, like it's a game I can play and just get lost in for a little bit. Truly a great game.
