I was greatly impressed when I played the demo and bought this game day 1. Unfortunately, the experience does not keep up and the game starts to be a slog after Drakenhold (2nd area of the game) and gradually gets worse. It becomes very repetitive, even on expert the game starts to pose no fun challenge, the story is generic and characters are plenty but boring, every continent has their own subplot but is given no depth.

Of course, the game is not horrible, the first 35% of the game before it got old was quite fun and the art in general and battle animations are gorgeous but unfortunately with the amount of time I invested, I found myself slightly disappointed at the end. Final area music slaps tho
