only logging games if i beat them recently because i made the mistake of rating a bunch of stuff i saw a long time ago when i made my letterboxd and ended up putting up a lot of dumb opinions so things will be pretty sparse here for a while

another example of a Hole thats better than Nirvana

(played the Nintendo Switch version but there's no way of selecting specifically the Luigi campaign of the Switch version on here so)
100%ed it again. I liked it a good deal more than the main campaign. The bite sized levels and increased challenge made it a good post game campaign. There's still some annoying level design here as well as all of the complaints I have about the main game (STOP GIVING ME PEACHETTE CROWNS IM NOT PLAYING AS THE BABY MODE CHARACTER) but overall im rocking with luigi

I 100 percented the main story mode for this, I'll review the Luigi campaign separately. Did not play the challenge modes but maybe I will at some point. Not sure I care enough about that sort of thing. Anyways it's another "new" super mario game. I've seen some hot takes crop up recently that nsmbu is actually really good and just overlooked because it's the fourth game in the "new" style and I gotta disagree. It's fine enough. Most of the level design is really solid, though there's some rough spots. I like the funny squirrel power up. Generally though it's nothing to write home about, I do not understand the reappraisal of this one! I guess it's probably the best new super mario game but whatever who cares
