In a lot of ways, Mega Man World 3 is just the prior game with a new coat of paint. It is easily the smallest amount of differences between two games in the Mega Man series. However, it is also an improvement on the previous game, and has a lot of small changes that make it better. It still ends up being roughly the same quality, just a bit spruced up in almost every way. It’s also a game that, just like in my last review, I have less to say about. The level design in this game has more to discuss than the past game, but this review ended up shorter than my last review because there are less overall things to discuss, since it is so similar to its predecessor. When I went from Mega Man World 1 to World 2, I described the major improvements that the second game featured over the first, but I can’t do that here. While the game is better, it almost entirely comes down to better level design rather than better systems mechanics or structure.
