This list contains my top 10 favorite games of all time from any platform, although the majority is from the PS1 because that's probably the console I played the most from my late childhood to my early teens (the so-called "formative years").

I have to make an honorable mention to Shenmue, though. For a long time that game held a very high place on my personal top 10, but it's been many, many years since I last played it, so I don't know how it holds up.
