Very strange game. Never really played anything like it before, theres so much anime stuff going on and by the end i got confused. Love how the cutscenes switch artstyles and theres some weird and goofy moments where theyre self aware of how weird this game is. Gameplay wise its a very simple runner game. The levels are cool and theres lots of replayability with getting all the secrets. Its very short and feels like it'd be perfect as a mobile game. Overall a fun little time waster with lots of replay value.

Very fun. One of the best boomer shooters out there. I love duke's one liners and movie references, altho found them not to be loud enough, the gunfire and enemies sounds made it hard to hear in my experience. Could be a port issue however. The new duke lines are a great addition and the developer commentary is a thing more games should have.

The level design is awesome. So many interactable elements. I did get lost in some levels because i missed a thing that wasnt so obvious but still great. This version of the game has a rewind feature which im not a fan of. Makes the game way too easy. That aside the difficulty is challenging in a fun, lets try that again with another approach sort of way. There is some absolute BS tho, especially with the flying enemies. Adapting your weapons to suit the enemies is really cool. Like you could just shoot an enemy repeatedly, wasting your ammo but if you have shrink or freeze ray ammo on hand you can just shrink them and deal with them faster. I just love that freedom with enemies.

Duke needs a proper comeback.

I havent played a zelda game before but i imagine its sort of like this game. Its a fun and short game to kill time with. Nothing particularly bad but nothing really stands out either. Might be good to speedrun too.
Its obviously a low budget game but still pretty good, just dont expect the most amazing experience ever.
Its got that wacky adventure time charm to it, many fan favorite characters to interact with and they act like they do in the show. Play it if youre an adventure time fan.

I did have some issues with the ps3 version where i'd get stuck in an infinite loading screen sometimes, causing me to reset my system. It doesnt have an autosave so i recommend saving before you go into a loading area. Luckily theres barely any loading screens so its not a big issue.

Overall fun game with some challenging difficulty and puzzles that isnt too unfair, keeps you wanting to come back. Pretty average time.

THIS GAME NEEDS A RE-RELEASE
Gameplay is a massive step up from the previous games, its like an average hack and slash game now, not the best but it is tolerable. Its not frustrating. The aerial combat however is somehow worse than the first game.

Graphics are your standard ps3 sort of graphics. Framerate however is wet garbage, it runs like sandy milk. If you ever play this, take a shot everytime the framerate drops. I think at least a port to a newer console could fix this, i dont get why they didnt just put this on ps4 in the first place, pretty sure the console came out by the time it released.

Story is pretty good but confusing, i personally liked drakengard 1s plot better but this game does add some cool lore that would be referenced in the nier games, i do not get how it connects tho. There is lots of sexual humor and innuendo in the game, kinda like a combo of anime perv humor mashed it up with american sexual jokes from beavis and butthead or family guy. Im personally not a fan and it doesnt add much to the characters anyway. That aside characters are good, something that i find the drakengard/nier games do incredibly well.

Overall good game, play it at least once, it desperately needs a newer version.

This game is insane. The plot is dark and goes places you definitely would not expect, especially with the final ending. There are many references to death. If youre sensitive to topics such as the death of children i'd definitely avoid this one. The game really excels at its dark storytelling, so much deep stuff to pull apart with its characters and how morally grey they are.

The gameplay is what really brings it down. Its not terrible, just really janky and not a thing i'd go out of my way to play. Its like if you got dynasty warriors and stuck it in a blender with ace combat. It reeks of early non devil may cry action games. Not very good.

I'd say watch a playthrough for the story rather than actually play the game. It gets very repetitive and unlocking the final ending is a chore.

I never want to play this game again. It is awful. The encounter rate is through the roof and i hate walking for a second then getting blasted by enemies. Im bad at jrpgs and this game doesnt help. I couldnt understand how to get new personas. The story is good, a bit confusing but still a neat story. It is probably one of the worst games i have played. If i wasnt invested in the story i would have abandoned it so fast.
